Hoxie sweeps WR in volleyball

Hoxie swept Walnut Ridge in a senior high volleyball match on Sept. 24 at Walnut Ridge's Sharum Gymnasium. Scores of the three games were 25-19, 25-20, 25-13.

For Hoxie, Chasity Becker had 10 kills, 10 assists and a block. Alyssa Coggins was 15-of-15 from the line and had five kills and three digs. Shayla Coats had five digs. Erika Manis had two aces and eight digs. Kelsey Lewis had two digs, eight kills, two assists and a block. Brianna Liscomb had seven kills. Kassie Teel had two digs and three kills. Amanda Whaley was 13-of-13 from the line, with two aces and 14 assists.
