Hillcrest Elementary School has two new teachers for the 2009-10 school year.
Natasha Turner of Strawberry is teaching fifth and sixth grade science. A native of Pocahontas, she has a bachelor's degree in mid-level math and science from Arkansas State University. She completed her internship at Cave City. She and her husband, Andrew Turner, are expecting their first child.
Sarah Taylor, a native of Pocahontas, is a third-grade teacher at HES. She earned her bachelor's degree in early childhood at Williams Baptist College in May and is a first-year teacher. She and her husband, Brandon Taylor, live in Pocahontas.
