Mustangs dominate Mountain View
"I was proud of the way we responded from our loss at Heber Springs. We got back to playing our brand of physical and aggressive football," said Hoxie head coach Tom Sears.
Hoxie opened the scoring on a one-yard run by Dillon Williamson with 6:24 to play in the first quarter. Jeremy Anglin's PAT gave the Mustangs a 7-0 lead.
Sebastian Irvin put Hoxie ahead 13-0 with a 55-yard run with 4:10 to play in the opening period. The PAT attempt was no good.
Cats defeat Cedar RidgeWalnut Ridge quarterback Luke Holloway had three touchdown passes to lead the Bobcats to a 28-6 victory over conference foe Cedar Ridge Friday night.
Holloway hit Logan Gaither for a 20-yard score, then connected with Gaither again on the two-point conversion to give Walnut Ridge an 8-0 lead with 21 seconds to play in the opening quarter.
