WRES has several new faces

Lawrence County School District students at Walnut Ridge's Ben R. Bush Elementary School will notice several new faces for the 2009-10 school year.

Jennifer Biggers of Walnut Ridge is the new first, second and third-grade reading recovery teacher. She has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Arkansas State University and a master's degree in reading from Harding. A native of West Memphis, she has previously taught at Park Hill Elementary School in North Little Rock and Eastside Elementary School in Cabot. She and her husband, Mark Biggers, have twin sons, Elijah and Isaac, who are seven.

Brandy Richardson is teaching kindergarten. A native of Walnut Ridge, she has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Williams Baptist College and did her student teaching at Hoxie Elementary School. She and her husband, Jordan Richardson, live in Walnut Ridge. They have an 11-month-old son, Jayden.

Laura Throesh of Pocahontas has joined WRES as a speech therapy aide. A native of Pocahontas, she will graduate in May of 2010 with a bachelor's degree in communication disorders from ASU.

Angie Trinidad of Walnut Ridge is a new employee in the cafeteria. She and her husband, Terry Trinidad, have four children, Kayla, Jacob, Tamera and Trenton.
