Grandparents' Corner
Shooter Gilbreath, six months, is the grandson of Bobby Moore of Walnut Ridge and Ronnie and Carolyn Gilbreath of Jonesboro.
He is the great-grandson of Cecil Moore of Walnut Ridge.
Lewis and Amanda Gilbreath of Jonesboro are his parents.

As a member of the media, it was a privilege to be present Sept. 2 for the dedication of the new Manley Chapel on the campus of Williams Baptist College. The dedication was also the 69th formal opening and convocation for the college.
The dedication was a first-class service from beginning to end and lasted less than an hour. A highlight for me was the Williams Singers performance of "I Was Glad When They Said Unto Me." It is my understanding that the group, directed by Dr. Bob Magee, had rehearsed the challenging piece this past spring and then intensely for a few days preceding the dedication.
The dedication began with an impressive processional of WBC faculty, administrators and program participants. Dr. Chris Thompson on piano and Carl Mason of trumpet performed "Trumpet Voluntary" for this. Another impressive moment was the singing of the hymn "All Hail the Power" by the crowd of approximately 600 people present.
