Hillcrest presents athletic awards

Hillcrest High School held an Athletic Banquet on May 12 at the Lynn campus gymnasium. Those awarded include:

Junior girls basketball awards (Coach Shawn Rose): Lindsey Crews, Most Steals, Best Field Goal Percentage, Best Free-Throw Percentage and All-Conference; Shae Durham, Most Improved; Mackenzie Nunnally, Most Rebounds, Best Three Point Field Goal Percentage and All-Conference; Morgan Penn, Most Assists, Hustle Award and All-Conference.

Junior boys basketball awards (Coach Andy Durham): Zach Doyle, Most Steals and Best Free-Throw Percentage; Coleman Evans, Best Three Point Field Goal Percentage; Austin Harris, Hustle Award; Ethan Holder, Most Assists; Hunter Nunnally, Most Rebounds; Tyler Parker, Most Rebounds and Best Field Goal Percentage; Corey Richey, Most Improved.

Senior girls basketball awards (Coach Shawn Rose): Samantha Blevins, Best Field Goal Percentage and All-Regional Tournament; Breanna Doyle, Most Steals, Best Three Point Field Goal Percentage, Best Free-Throw Percentage, All-Conference, Regional Tournament MVP, All-State and All-State Tournament; Tamara Evans, Most Rebounds; Shelby Huskey, Most Improved; Natalie Johnson, Most Assists, Hustle Award, All-Conference and All-Regional Tournament; Lauren Pickle, Most Rebounds and All-Conference.
