Dobbs signs with Lady Eagles

Kelsey Dobbs will stay in Lawrence County as she continues her softball career. The pitcher from Hoxie signed her commitment to play for the Lady Eagles of Williams Baptist College on May 27.

Dobbs, who graduated from Hoxie High School this year, is a three-time All-Conference selection. She had a batting average of around .390 her senior season. She has received the defensive player of the year award for her team once and pitcher of the year honors twice. She also played volleyball and was active in the FFA.

She is the daughter of David F. and Schelley Dobbs of Hoxie.

The Lady Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
