The Picturing America display is being distributed to schools and libraries across the country through the grant program.
"NEH's Picturing America is an education initiative that brings significant works of American art directly to classrooms and libraries to help citizens of all ages explore American history and culture through out nation's art," NEH Chairman Bruce Cole said.
"America has a remarkable story, filled with riveting chapters and extraordinary heroes," he added. "Picturing America brings this story to life through 40 compelling images."
Other 2009 grant recipients in the county are Black Rock Elementary School, the Bobbie Jean Memorial Library in Imboden and the Sloan-Hendrix Middle School Library.
Those selected in 2008 included Hoxie High School, the Northeast Arkansas Educational Cooperative in Walnut Ridge and Walnut Ridge High School's A.W. Rainwater Library.
