Black Rock High School Principal David Foley has announced honor graduates for the 2009 graduating class.
Amy McKenzie is valedictorian. She is the daughter of Scott and Lori McKenzie of Strawberry and will attend Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She plans to major in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and minor in leadership.
The salutatorian is Shanda Whitlow. She is the daughter of Kelly Whitlow of Walnut Ridge and David Whitlow of Portia and will attend Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. She plans to major in health and physical education.
