Hoxie cleanup begins May 11The City of Hoxie will hold its annual spring cleanup Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 22. Pickup will begin on the northwest side of Midway Road and work southwest to the bypass, then cross over to the southeast side and work northwest to the Brewer addition. Residents are asked to separate items into four categories: metal (appliances, etc.), brush, wood and junk items. Items that cannot be picked up include tires, batteries, paint cans and chemical cans. All items must be by the street and ready for pickup. No return trips will be made.
