Hillcrest honor grads announced

Hillcrest High School Principal Gregg Cooper has announced the Class of 2009 honor graduates.
Kayla Smith is this year's valedictorian.
Smith is the daughter of Randy and Karla Smith of Calamine. She plans to attend Arkansas State University and become a nurse anesthetist.
Hillcrest's salutatorian is Christin Highfield.
Highfield is the daughter of Eric and Lori Highfield of Smithville. She plans to attend Black River Technical College for her basics and then transfer to ASU to study diagnostic medical sonography.
Other honor graduates are Alysia Coles, Amber Glenn, Ronell Reed and Robert Taylor Neeley.
Coles, daughter of Randall and Delise Coles of Strawberry, plans to attend Missouri State and major in agriculture education.
Glenn, who plans to attend ASU and become a speech pathologist, is the daughter of Brent and Melinda Glenn of Lynn.
Reed is the daughter of Carol Reed of Cave City and Craig Reed of Poughkeepsie. She plans to attend ASU and then medical school to become an anesthesiologist.
Neeley plans to attend the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. He is the son of Terral and Tina Neeley of Strawberry.
Hillcrest High School's graduation ceremony will be May 15 at 7 p.m. at the gymnasium on the Lynn campus.
