WR boys beat Brookland

The Walnut Ridge Bobcats survived a seventh-inning rally by Brookland to defeat the Bearcats 9-8 in high school baseball action on April 14 at Walnut Ridge.
With Walnut Ridge leading 9-4 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, Brookland scored four runs and had two runners on base when the final out was made.
Logan Gaither had a home run and scored three runs, and William Wilcoxson scored two runs for Walnut Ridge.
Curtis Jackson was the starting pitcher and allowed four runs on four hits, with six strikeouts and three walks in four innings of work.
