Greyhounds blank Melbourne
The Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds recorded a 9-0 victory over Melbourne during baseball action on March 17.

Phillip Dunn led off with a double and scored on Colton Witt's RBI single in the first to kick things off for the Greyhounds.
Jeromy Roberts reached on an error to start out the second inning, and Terry Price got on base after being hit by a pitch. Dunn hit a single to center to drive in Roberts. Witt then hit a single to center to drive in Price and Dunn for two more RBIs.
In the third, Aaron Higginbotham reached on a bunt, but was out on the bases by a fielder's choice hit by Justus Williams. Roberts reached on a walk, and then Terry Price opened the game up with a two-out homerun good for three RBIs.
Higginbotham reached on a two-out single to center during the fourth, and Williams reached on an error. Chase DeJournett got on base after being hit by a pitch, then Roberts hit a two-RBI single to right scoring Higginbotham and Williams to finish out the scoring.
Dunn went 4-of-4 with an RBI, and Witt went 2-of-4 with three RBIs. Roberts and Price were both 1-of-3 with Roberts recording two RBIs and Price recording three. Higginbotham was 2-of-4 and scored a run.
Dunn picked up the win on the mound striking out 13, allowing two hits and no walks.
