Jones excels at meets
Jarah Jones shows the gymnastic awards she has earned during the recent competition season.

Jarah Jones of Hoxie recently completed her competition season with Stars and Stripes Gymastics of Jonesboro. She is a level three competitor.
During the season, she took first all around at the Pepsi Challenge in Hot Springs, the All Star Classic in Batesville and the Mega Classic in North Little Rock. She also finished fourth all around at the Emerald Classic in Cabot.
Her individual awards at the meets included two firsts and two thirds on the vault, four firsts on the uneven bars, two thirds, a fourth and an eighth on floor exercises and two firsts, a second and a seventh on the beam.
A third-grader at Hoxie Elementary School, she is the daughter of Blake and Georgetta Jones of Hoxie. Her grandparents are Dwain and Ann Jones of Walnut Ridge and Pat Gipson of Lake City and the late George Gipson.
