S-H boys win three

The Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds remained undefeated on the baseball season with a 1-0 win at Cotter in their 2A-2 conference opener on Friday.
The Greyhounds' run came in the fourth inning, when Chase DeJournett singled in Colton Simpson.
Phillip Dunn started on the mound for Sloan-Hendrix and hurled his second two-hitter of the season, while recording 10 strikeouts.
Mammoth Spring
The Greyhounds out-slugged Mammoth Spring 11-7 on March 3 at Imboden.
Dunn batted 3-for-4 to lead the Hounds' offense.
Zack Ogden was the winning pitcher, recording six strikeouts.
Maynard
Sloan-Hendrix opened the baseball season with a 12-1 rout of Maynard on Feb. 27 at Imboden.
Dunn led the Greyhounds at the plate with three RBIs. Aaron Higginbotham had two doubles and an RBI, and Simpson had two hits and an RBI.
On the mound, Dunn allowed just two hits, while striking out 12.
