On Feb. 11, 17 Hoxie Future Business Leaders of America members attended the District FBLA Conference at Nettleton High School. The conference consisted of a general session, a talent show, and a testing session.
FBLA members from Hoxie placed in the following events: Amber Scott, second, Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure; Stephanie McNabb, sixth, Word Processing I; Andy Guyton, seventh, Business Law; Kassie Arnold, seventh, FBLA Principles and Procedures.
Also, Danielle Black, eighth, Business Procedures; Destiny Holloway, ninth, Marketing; Jake Smith, ninth, Economics; Jonathon Vankirk, ninth, Introduction to Technology Concepts; and Autumn Nelson, 10th, Introduction to Business.
Amber Scott has qualified to compete at the State FBLA Conference. The conference will be held in Little Rock on April 7 and 8. Hoxie FBLA advisors are Brenda Flippo, Darlene Shoe and James Treadwell.
