Hillcrest FBLA members
win district competitions

The Hillcrest FBLA chapter attended the District II Spring Leadership Conference at Nettleton High School on Feb. 11.

Blake Simmons received first place in Intro to Technology Concepts, and Alysia Coles took first place in Talent Show. Coles also received sixth place in Business Law, and Amber Glenn took third place in Economics.

Other competition winners were: Tyler Durham, Intro to Business, sixth place; Ronell Reed, Business Calculations, seventh place; Stevie Howard, Personal Finance, ninth place; Allie Harris, Business Communications, 10th place.

Others attending the conference from Hillcrest High School included: Josh Shaw, Tamera Evans, Trisha Glenn, Natalie Johnson, Kayla McBride, Ryan Anderson, Kayla Smith and Sydnee Martin. Their adviser, Janice Clayton, attended, as well.
