Brady signs with SAUGretchen Hunt
Hoxie High School senior Thomas Brady recently signed his letter of intent to continue his football career at the collegiate level.
On Feb. 4, Brady signed his commitment to play at Southern Arkansas State University in Magnolia, where he will play left tackle.
"I'm excited because I want to have a shot at playing at the collegiate level," Brady said. "I want to get a good education and make my family proud."
His mother, Rhonda, who was on hand for the signing, said he has already done that. She also gave credit to Hoxie's coaching staff.
"The coaches are really caring," she said. "They put forth the extra effort."
"Hoxie has some of the best coaches around," he said. "There aren't many coaches in the nation that can get you better prepared. You couldn't ask for better coaches."
Brady recorded 42 knockdown blocks during his senior season.
HHS head coach Tom Sears said he is proud of Brady and the other Hoxie signees for all they have accomplished on the field and in the classroom.
