Hoxie beats Harrisburg

The Hoxie Mustangs slipped past Harrisburg 63-59 to remain undefeated in 3A-3 conference play Friday night at Harrisburg.

The score was tied 59-59 when Beau Sisco scored the game-winning basket with 30 seconds to play. Cade Crisler added a pair of free throws with eight seconds left to secure the win.

Crisler scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Mustangs, while Sisco finished with 13. Justin Weitkamp had 12 points, and Morgan Puckett added 11.

Hoxie improved to 6-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference.

The Hoxie junior high boys defeated Harrisburg 58-33.
