WR splits
with Cotter

The Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats defeated Cotter 51-44 in senior girls basketball Friday night at Sharum Gymnasium.

Ashley Baker led Walnut Ridge with 20 points. Alivia Hackworth had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. The Lady Bobcats improved 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the 2A-3 conference.

Senior boys

The Cotter senior boys defeated Walnut Ridge 51-41.

Wesley Davis scored 11 points, and Bennett Dudley had 10 for the Bobcats.

Walnut Ridge fell to 3-7 overall and 1-3 in 2A-3 conference play.

Junior high

Walnut Ridge and Cotter split a pair of junior high contests Friday evening. The Walnut Ridge junior girls defeated Cotter 40-30. Cotter won the junior boys matchup 36-25.
