Bobcats win one, lose one

Five Walnut Ridge players scored in double figures as the Bobcats defeated Ridgefield Christian 68-50 in senior boys basketball Friday night at Walnut Ridge.

Derek Medlock scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds for the Cats. Wes Davis and Brandon Dawson each scored 13 points. Bennett Dudley and Chris Dickson each had 11.

Walnut Ridge won the junior high boys game 32-28 and the junior high girls contest 37-34.

Cedar Ridge

Cedar Ridge outscored Walnut Ridge 26-13 in the fourth quarter to defeat the Bobcats 62-59 on Dec. 9 at Sharum Gymnasium.

Dudley led Walnut Ridge with 16 points, and Dickson had 14.

Senior girls

The Cedar Ridge Lady Timberwolves scored the game's first 16 points en route to a 70-24 victory over the Lady Bobcats.

Ashley Baker scored 11 points to lead the Lady Cats.
