Frankly speaking...The Green Tomato Restaurant on the Square in Pocahontas has localized its menu in a clever way that helps boost the tourism of this area. The restaurant menu states that it has Black River walnut coffee cake made with walnuts from nearby Walnut Ridge. The salads include such choices as The Current and The Eleven Point. Other Pocahontas names are also incorporated in the menu choices. The restaurant is one of several interesting establishments now located on the square.
