teams face off

The Black Rock Lady Zebras used a strong finish to defeat Sloan-Hendrix 56-49 in senior girls basketball Friday at Black Rock.
Black Rock led 39-38 after three periods before pulling away in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.
The Lady Zebras were led by Teri Aden with 17 points, and Amy Galbreath with 16.
Kristin Belcher led the Lady Greyhounds with 20 points, while Hannah Rowsey added 11.
The Sloan-Hendrix junior girls posted a 36-16 win over Black Rock.
Senior boys
Black Rock jumped to a big early lead en route to recording a 72-39 victory over Sloan-Hendrix in the senior boys game.
Joe Paul Carey led the Zebras with 14 points. Tyler Roby, Trent Moreledge and Khris Foster each had 11 points. Foster also pulled down eight rebounds.
Zach Ogden led the Greyhounds with 13 points.
