BR girls beat Bay

The Black Rock Lady Zebras recorded a 56-53 overtime victory over Bay in senior girls basketball Friday at Black Rock.

Bay led 19-9 after the first quarter and increased their lead in the second period.

The Lady Zebras cut the deficit to 38-34 at the end of the third period and earned a 50-50 tie at the end of regulation.

Amy Galbreath led Black Rock with 15 points. Ashley Stallings had 14 points, and Teri Aden added 11.

Bay won the junior girls game 42-14.

The Black Rock senior boys dropped a 62-52 decision to Bay.

Les Foster led the Zebras with 18 points, and Joe Paul Carey had 14.
