S-H, BR split games

A strong second half lifted the Sloan-Hendrix Lady Greyhounds to a 50-33 victory over Black Rock in senior girls basketball Nov. 11 at Imboden.

Black Rock led 22-21 at halftime, but was outscored 18-5 in the third period, as Sloan-Hendrix took a 39-27 lead into the fourth quarter.

Kristin Belcher led the Lady Greyhounds with 15 points.

The Lady Zebras were led by Amy Galbreath and Hailey Slusser with 10 points each.

Senior boys

The Black Rock senior boys defeated Sloan-Hendrix 72-33.

Trent Moreledge led the Zebras with 18 points, followed by Joe Paul Carey with 12. Jay Nunally and Les Foster had 10 points each. Hunter Horton had 12 rebounds.

Chad Orrick led the Greyhounds with 12 points.
