Grandparents' corner Ryley Oren Turner and Adysen Kate Turner , two weeks old, are the twin children of Aaron and Courtney Turner of Cord. Grandparents are Ronny and Rhonda Lindsey of Cord and Steve and Donna Turner of Strawberry. They are the great-grandchildren of Gene and Mary Lou Lucy and Leonard and Mickey Lindsey, all of Cord, Bart and Betty Voyles of Strawberry and Vivian Turner of Lynn.

Smoky memories

This time of year, folks out at Possum Trot had brought in the wood burning stoves from storage, polished them up, bought new pipe and elbows and had a pile of wood in the backyard. Some of the wood was split thin for kindling and in our case some was still in blocks waiting to be split.
