S-H has new teachers
Chris Murphy of Ravenden, a native of Williford, is an elementary teacher. She holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She previously taught at Williford Elementary. She and her husband, Phillip Murphy, have one child, Brittney. Glenda Causbie of Pocahontas teaches middle school literacy. A native of Dalton, she taught 16 years at Oak Ridge Central and six years at Williford. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's in elementary administration, both from ASU. Her husband, Roy, is a standards assurance specialist with the Arkansas Department of Education. They have a daughter, Claire, 8, who is a third grader at SHES. Andi Hickman of Imboden, a native of Ravenden Springs, is a third-grade teacher. She has a bachelor's degree from Williams Baptist College and taught previously at Oak Ridge Central. She and her husband, Jason Hickman, have two children, Caden and Jade. Andrea Roark of Ravenden teaches third grade. A native of Smithville, she is in her sixth year of teaching, having previously taught at Maynard Elementary School. She has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from WBC. Her husband, Jeff Roark is a social studies teacher at Maynard High School. They have two children, Kyle, five, and Karson, two.
