Jayden Tripp Richardson

Jordan and Brandy Richardson of Walnut Ridge have announced the birth of their first child, a son, born Oct. 1, 2008, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

The baby weighed seven pounds, 12 ounces, and has been named Jayden Tripp Richardson.

Grandparents are Blake and Shelia Britton of Walnut Ridge and Bryan and Vicki Richardson of Hoxie.

Great-grandparents are Darrell and Kathy Dobbs, Clifton and Marcene Britton and Jessie Duckworth, all of Walnut Ridge, Terrell and Kathern Richardson of Hoxie and Bill and Sandy Eagle of Maynard.

Obituaries

Virginia Castleman

Virginia Dobbie Castleman, 77, of Pocahontas, died Oct. 11, 2008, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

Born March 30, 1931, in Imboden, she was the daughter of Rhea and Pansy Ellen Starr. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pocahontas.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Hackworth.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Castleman; two sons, Richard Castleman and wife Diane, Pocahontas, and Bobby Castleman, Imboden; a daughter, Pam McIntosh, Leslie; three sisters, Mary Pope, Ruth Potter and husband Cecil, and Roberta Stephens and husband Kenneth; three brothers, Herbert Starr, Everett Starr and wife Hazel, and Rhea Starr Jr. and wife Peggy; and six grandchildren, Mikemark Castleman, Virginia McCord, Elizabeth Castleman, Jerrod Castleman, Katie McIntosh and Michael McIntosh.

Graveside service was Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Hope Cemetery at Imboden with Herbert Starr officiating. McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Donald Stephens, Kenneth Stephens, Mooney Starr, Terry Depriest, Mikemark Castleman, Jerrod Castleman, Michael McIntosh and Ronald Potter.

Archie Frazier

Archie Dean Frazier, 61, of Walnut Ridge, died Oct. 10, 2008, at his home.

He lived most of his life in Walnut Ridge and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archibald and Geneva Smith Frazier; and a sister, Barbara Jean Stephens.

Survivors include a daughter, Tonya Jackson, North Little Rock; five sisters, Nancy Mabry and Martha Harris, both of Jonesboro, Peggy Tinsley and Patsy Bowley, both of Hoxie, and Mary Liscomb, Walnut Ridge; two brothers, Larry Frazier, Hoxie, and Johnny Frazier, Walnut Ridge; and three grandchildren.

Funeral was Tuesday at 2 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Joel McMasters officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Bobby Moore, Layton Frazier, Marvin Kennedy, Justin Frazier, Benny Harris and Ken Barnett.

Rethel Nunally

Rethel Nunally, 71, of Black Rock, died Oct. 10, 2008, at her home.

She had lived in Black Rock most of her life and was a member of New Life Full Gospel Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Hill; her parents, A.O. and Ruby Lawrence Lamberth; a sister, Anna Finley; two brothers, Gail Raney and Boyce Osborn Lamberth; and a grandson, Timothy Hill Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Ross, Ravenden; a son, Ronald Hill, Tuckerman; four sisters, Martha Williams, Walnut Ridge, Vesta Smith, Black Rock, Sharon Broadway, Imboden, and Nona Richey, Powhatan; two brothers, Vero Brandon, Mulberry, and Alis Raney, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was Monday at 10 a.m. at Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock with Wayne Bryant officiating. House-Gregg Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Bill Broadway, Cody Broadway, Chris Broadway, Zachery Ogden, Andrew Meyer, Travis Mandera, Steve Ogden, Tyler Todd, Curtis Richey, Kelly Richey, Byron Richey and Terry Smith.
