Dickie Smith is new
administrator at LHNC

Dickie Smith of Black Rock was recently named the administrator of Lawrence Hall Nursing Home in Walnut Ridge.

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Smith of Black Rock, he is a former employee of Lawrence Health Services and has 35 years of experience in healthcare.

He is a graduate of Black Rock High School and a graduate of Arkansas State University with a degree in accounting.

Kim Nunally of Black Rock was named assistant administrator at LHNC. She is the daughter of the late Charles Ring of Portia and the late Dinah Pasilas of Imboden and is married to Daniel Nunally. She is a Black River Technical College graduate and has been with Lawrence Hall since April of 2007. She has 11 years of experience in healthcare.

A reception with the employees was held on Thursday, and Smith and Nunally assumed their new duties on Monday.

"This is a great nursing home and I am certainly grateful to be a part of it," Smith said.

Linda Smith, RN and assistant administrator, is also part of the management team at Lawrence Hall and is responsible for supervising therapeutic nursing care, as well as serving as a role model in clinical skills and leadership.

Sarah Wright, the previous administrator at LHNC, resigned on Aug. 25 to pursue other professional opportunities.
