WRHS homecoming is Oct. 10Walnut Ridge High School will celebrate homecoming on Oct. 10 when the Bobcats host Marked Tree.Carrie Massey, daughter of Cary and Raelyne Massey, has been selected as the 2008 homecoming queen. Pages are Issac Biggers, Elijah Biggers and Emma Richey. Issac and Eli are the sons of Mark and Jennifer Biggers, and Emma is the daughter of Heath and Emily Richey. Natalea Foster, daughter of Dr. Robert and Lea Andra Foster, is maid of honor, and senior maid is Lacey Cobble, daughter of Rodney and Joyce Dobbs. Other maids are: junior, Regan Jean, daughter of Robert Jean and Lana Jean; sophomore, Cheyanne Stayton, daughter of Jerry and Janie Stayton; and freshman, Makenzie Britton, daughter of Keith and Ginger Britton. Dress up days for homecoming week are as follows: Monday, PJ Day; Tuesday, Biker Day; Wednesday, Super Hero Day; Thursday, Rock N Roll day; and Friday, T-shirt/Orange & White Day. On Rock N Roll Day, individual class themes are: freshmen, Back in Black; sophomores, Jailhouse Rock; juniors, Welcome to the Jungle; and Seniors, Party like a Rock Star. The homecoming parade, which is sponsored by Key Club, will begin at 1:50 p.m. on Friday. The parade will be immediately followed by a pep rally.
