Diana Shelton of Walnut Ridge has served as this year's director of BPW's Region II. She reported that approximately 50 members, guests, state executive officers, past state presidents and state standing committee chairs were present, plus six vendors and Raelyne Massey and six of her students from Walnut Ridge High School. continued... Butler Hall dedicated at Williams With the cutting of a ribbon, Williams Baptist College formally dedicated Butler Hall on Friday. A sizable crowd of school and community officials, students, faculty and staff were on hand for the ceremony. continued... Fall cleanups scheduled Lawrence County, as well as the cities of Hoxie and Walnut Ridge, have announced plans for their fall cleanups. continued... LHNC holds historic tailgate party In observance of 9-11 and in keeping with the fall football season, Lawrence Hall Nursing Center had a tailgate party on Sept. 11. continued...
