Walnut Ridge BPW
Members of Walnut Ridge Business and Professional Women will host the Region II Fall Conference Saturday at First Baptist ChurchÕs fellowship hall.

The one-day conference will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. Members and guests from all across Arkansas are expected to attend.
AR/BPW State President Kristina Croslin will be the keynote speaker for the event. Her theme for the year is 'Moving Forward for BPW' with a car as her state logo.
All programs and workshops during the conference will center around her theme as members present information on such topics as education, healthcare, technology, finances and the history of BPW.
Local BPW President Diana Shelton is currently serving as the Region II director. Shelton has been a member of the local BPW club for 11 years and has served in several local, regional and state office positions.
Other officers for Region II are Karen Hunt of Newport, vice director; Sarah Akin of Jonesboro, recording secretary; and Gloria Woods of Augusta and Ann Breckenridge of Newport, state nominating committee member and alternate, respectively.
Other activities for the conference will include a silent auction to raise money for the Wilson Memorial Scholarship Fund, a style show sponsored by Wal-Mart and coordinated by Leanne Tharp, entertainment by students of Holly GillÕs Studio Dance and a health screening by Lawrence Health Services.
Raelyne Massey, Walnut Ridge High School FCCLA sponsor, and several of her students will prepare and serve the luncheon.
