Eagle golfers beat Weiner

Hillcrest got balanced scoring from three golfers, as the Screamin' Eagles defeated Weiner in boys high school golf Monday at the Walnut Ridge Country Club.

Jordan Hunter shot a 47 to lead Hillcrest. Travis Brady added a 49 and Derek Wooted carded a 50, as the Eagles posted a team score of 146, nine strokes ahead of the Cardinals.

The Weiner girls defeated Hillcrest 102-118. Natalie Johnson led Hillcrest with a 51 and Kayla McBride added a 67 for the Lady Screamin' Eagles.
