LIBRARY HAS EXPANDED SPACE ~ Suzanne Bouchillon (left) of Portia returns books to the Lawrence County Public Library's new main branch located in the Lawrence County Community Building on Walnut Street in Walnut Ridge. Ethel Tompkins, reference librarian, assists Bouchillon. The library, which has been closed for two weeks while the transition was made, opened at the new location on Tuesday.

of Blue & You Fitness Challenge
Lawrence Health Services in Walnut Ridge has won its division in the Arkansas 2008 Blue & You Fitness Challenge. LHS was one of eight category winners honored earlier this summer during ceremonies held at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock.
