Library moving date set

Lawrence County Library Director Ashley Burris has announced dates for the Walnut Ridge library's move into its new downtown building.
We plan to close Monday, Aug. 18, through Sept. 1," Burris said. "We will reopen Sept. 2 at the Walnut Street address."
The Library Board and the Lawrence County Quorum Court recently reached an agreement that will allow the library to use space in the Lawrence County Community Building, which was donated to the county by Bob and Paula Hutcherson.
Three juveniles arrested for
Three juvenile males were arrested last week in connection with the break-ins and vandalism at the Walnut Ridge Community Center on July 25 through July 27.

The Arkansas State Highway Commission has opened bids for improvements to roadways in Lawrence County, according to Commissioner John Ed Regenold of Armorel and Lawrence County Judge Alex Latham.
