WR man dies after accident
A Walnut Ridge man has died from injuries he sustained in a one-vehicle accident on May 15, according to Cpl. Phillip Roark with the Arkansas State Police.James Midgett, 69, died Friday at a Memphis hospital.
Roark's report states that the accident occurred on May 15 at 10:44 p.m. on Highway 91, south of Walnut Ridge.
According to the report, a 1998 Pontiac van, driven by Midgett, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 91 when it went out of control, left the roadway and struck an embankment.
