Broadway signs with WBCHillcrest High School basketball player Jessica Broadway will continue her basketball career at Williams Baptist College. Broadway signed her commitment with the Lady Eagles on Monday at WBC.Broadway, who is from Smithville, scored over 1,400 points during her career at HHS, averaging 13.3 points and nine rebounds per game. She was an All-State selection her junior year, and she was All-WBC Tournament and All-NEA Tournament her senior season. She has also been active in FFA, FCCLA and SCREAM at Hillcrest. She is a member of Smithville Baptist Church. Broadway is the daughter of Bret and Pam Broadway of Smithville. Present for her signing were her parents and Lady Eagles coach Carol Halford. The Lady Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
