Relay team advances to state

The Sloan-Hendrix High School track team's 400m relay team has qualified for the 2A State Track Meet to be held Thursday at Mineral Springs.

The relay team, consisting of Aaron Broadwater, Zack Ogden, Stanley Archer and Trevor Anderson, qualified at the 2A District Track Meet held in Pocahontas on May 5.

Others who qualified for state competition were: Austin Morgan in the 400m, 1600m and the 3200m runs; Jordan Baldridge in the shot-put; and Hannah Rowsey in the triple jump.
