Meyer to play baseball at WBCDrew Meyer, a four-year starter for the Sloan-Hendrix baseball team, has committed to continue his baseball career at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge.
Meyer served primarily as the Greyhounds' catcher, but SHHS head coach Ricky Grisham, said can play many positions.
"He is capable of playing about anywhere," Grisham said.

Simpson signs commitment with CRCCody Simpson, a senior at Sloan-Hendrix, has signed his commitment to play baseball at the college level for Crowley's Ridge College in Paragould.
Simpson pitched, as well as playing third and first, during his three years playing for the Greyhounds and had a batting average of around .380 his senior year. continued ...
