Screamin' Eagles
earn tourney wins

The Hillcrest baseball team won two games in the 2A-2 District Baseball Tournament on Saturday at Tuckerman.
The Screamin' Eagles defeated Quitman 9-3 in the first game.
Dylan Wooten started on the mound and allowed two runs in seven innings pitched to earn the win.
Marcus Huskey and Derek Wooten both batted 3-for-4. Jordan Hunter hit 2-for-4, and Kyle Bristow had two hits and two RBIs.
In the second game, Hillcrest defeated Cedar Ridge 12-2 in five innings.
Michael Spain picked up the victory on the mound, giving up two runs and striking out five.
Bristow batted 4-for-4, with three RBIs to lead the Eagles' offense. Hunter batted 3-for-4, with three RBIs. Derek Wooten had three hits and scored four runs, and Huskey hit a home run.
