Greyhounds qualify for regionals
The Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds baseball team won two games in the 2A-2 District Tournament before falling to host Tuckerman 10-1 in the semifinals on Monday. With the wins, the Greyhounds secured a berth in the 2A-North Regional Tournament, which begins on Saturday at Tuckerman.Sloan-Hendrix opened with a 12-1 five-inning win over White County Central and followed it up with a 7-2 win over Midland to advance to the semifinals.
