BR sweeps Ridgefield Christian

Black Rock hosted Ridgefield Christian in a baseball doubleheader on April 15. The Zebras swept their visitors, winning the first game 10-0 and earning a 10-4 win in the nightcap.

Chris Richardson earned the win in the opener, allowing just two hits and recording 10 strikeouts.

Joe Paul Carey hit 2-for-3, with four RBIs, and Tyler Roby batted 2-for-2, with an RBI.

Jay Nunally recorded six strikeouts to pick up the win in the late game.

Garrett Maronde went 3-for-3, with three RBIs, and Nunally hit 2-for-3.
