Lady Bobcats blank Quitman

The Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats defeated the Quitman Lady Bulldogs 15-0 in high school softball on Friday.

Staci Spargo earned the win, allowing only one hit while striking out seven and walking two.

Jordan Rorex had a hit, scored two runs and had three stolen bases. Jessica Osbahr batted 2-for-3, with an RBI and scored three runs. Spargo batted 2-for-3, with an RBI, scored three runs and had three stolen bases. Lindsey Simms hit 2-for-3, with an RBI and a stolen base.

Carrie Massey scored a run and had a stolen base. Taylor Wagoner had one hit, two RBIs, scored two runs and had two stolen bases. Alivia Hackworth had a hit, an RBI, scored a run and had a stolen base. Josie Wagoner had a hit, an RBI and scored a run. Ashley Baker scored two runs and had a stolen base, and Vanessa Oliver had an RBI.

The Lady Bobcats improved to 11-1 overall and 5-0 in 2A-2 conference play.
