Crisler started the first inning off with a double and scored on a Marmaduke miscue.

Hitt held the Greyhounds to a single hit until the bottom of the sixth. After retiring the first batter, Marmaduke reached first on a hit batsman and Kyle Huckabey drove in the tying run with a double to left field. Dexter Jordan connected on a two-run homer to put the Greyhounds ahead.

Crisler reached on a walk and Richardson reached on a miscue. After a passed ball, Hoxie had the tying runs on second and third. The Greyhounds' third baseman handled a hard-hit ball from Hitt to end the game.
