Submitted Photo ~ Ashley George Debbie Richey Staff Writer The Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats softball team defeated Weiner 14-3 in their home opener on Thursday at Stewart Park. Offensively for the Lady Cats, Staci Sparo went 4-for-4, with 2 RBIs and had two stolen bases. Jordan Rorex batted 2-for-4, with a home run and had two stolen bases. Jessica Osbahr went 2-for-3, with 2 RBIs and two stolen bases, and Taylor Wagoner had three RBIs. Spargo pitched six innings to pick up the win. Alivia Hackworth pitched the seventh inning to earn a save. Midland The Lady Bobcats defeated the Midland Lady Mustangs 20-2 at Pleasant Plains on March 10. Staci Spargo earned the win for the Lady Bobcats, pitching five innings, giving up three hits and striking out two. Spargo went 3-for-3 at bat. Jessica Osbahr was 2-for-4, with two RBIs, and Lindsey Simms hit 2-for-2. Alivia Hackworth batted 2-for-4, and Jordan Rorex scored four runs.
