Lady Hounds drop two Sloan-Hendrix's Danyail Dail slides into base during the Lady Greyhounds' 8-2 loss to White County Central. TD Photo ~ Debbie Richey Debbie Richey Staff Writer Sloan-Hendrix hosted White County Central in high school softball action at Imboden on March 11, falling to the Lady Bears 8-2. Heidi Powers pitched five innings, allowing seven hits with four strikeouts. Kristi Caldwell took over on the mound for the last two innings and allowed one hit and struck out two. At the plate, Caldwell recorded a triple, a single and had one RBI. Danyail Dail closed with a double, a single and an RBI. Chasity Collins and Samantha Perrin each had a single. Cedar Ridge The Lady Greyhounds fell to Cedar Ridge 4-1 on March 10 at Newark. Powers pitched for Sloan-Hendrix, allowing five hits with seven strikeouts. Autumn Wilson and Dail each had a hit.
