Black Rock hosted Armorel and suffered a 52-42 setback to the Tigers in senior high boys basketball on Friday.
Black Rock trailed 23-18 at halftime and 41-31 at the end of the third quarter.
Ben Walker was the Zebras' top scorer, with 17 points, while Chris Richardson added nine points.
The senior Zebras are now 6-19 for the season.
The Maynard Tigers came to Black Rock and defeated the Zebras 78-68 in overtime in senior boys action on Jan. 15.
Black Rock held a 16-14 lead at the end of the first quarter, but Maynard switched places with the Zebras and led 32-31 at the halftime break.
The match proved to be a duel to the end, as Black Rock took the lead 48-46 after three quarters. The game was tied 64-64 when regulation play ended.
Maynard got the edge in overtime, despite Black Rock's hustle, and took the victory.
J.J. Nunally led the Zebras with 25 points and seven rebounds. Richardson added 17 points, seven boards and five assists. Les Foster contributed 15 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Walker notched four points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Adam Whitmire had four points three rebounds and an assist. Garrett Maronde closed with three points, three rebounds and two assists.
