Hillcrest, S-H teams face off

Sloan-Hendrix hosted Hillcrest in conference 2A-2 basketball action on Friday at Imboden.

Senior boys

Derek Wooten led the Hillcrest senior boys, as they outlasted Sloan-Hendrix for a 47-44 victory. Chris Blevins had 10 points for the Eagles.

Three Greyhounds scored in double figures, led by Royce Pace with 16 points. Trevor Anderson had 14 points, and Chad Orrick added 12.

Senior girls

Hillcrest's Lady Screamin' Eagles defeated Sloan-Hendrix 47-26.

Breanna Doyle led Hillcrest with 12 points, and Amber Glenn added 11.

Junior boys

Sloan-Hendrix edged past Hillcrest 41-38 in junior high boys action.
