MARONDE CROWNED MISS BOBCAT 2008 ~ Cheyanne Maronde (second, from left) was crowned Miss Bobcat 2008 at the FCCLA sponsored contest on Saturday night. Maronde also took home the Miss Congeniality Award, presented by Mr. and Mrs. Larry Corbett in memory of their daughter Monetta, and the talent award. Others who placed in the event are (from left): Elizabeth Walker, People's Choice Award; Katelin Cavenaugh, first runner up; and Carrie Massey, second runner up. The event raised $639 for The Children's Shelter, FCCLA's Community Service project, through admission and the People's Choice Award. The theme was Let It Snow, "Let It Snow, Let It Snow." Main Street Dance presented entertainment, along with Miss Bobcat 2007 ShayLee Lawhon.
