Lady Mustangs sweep Brookland

Hoxie's Lady Mustangs traveled to Brookland to face the Lady Bearcats in conference 3A-3 basketball action on Thursday.
In senior high action, Hoxie clutched an 18-6 first-quarter lead and led 37-14 at halftime.
The Lady Mustangs continued to dominate the boards in the third period and took a 50-21 third-quarter lead.
The mercy rule came into play shortly into the final quarter, making this task short, as the Lady Mustangs claimed a 59-27 win.
Jessica Barber led Hoxie with 16 points.

Junior high
The junior Lady Mustangs defeated the junior Lady Bearcats 40-30.
